Secret Elf or Secret Santa? It is that time of the year when we draw names for a fun gift exchange with coworkers, sorority sisters, or maybe even family members. No matter what you call your gifting festivities, there is always plenty of fun to be had. (Be sure to check out your free Secret Elf Gift at the bottom of the page.)
I have participated in many secret sister swaps that lasted for the entire month of December where “little surprises” were left for the recipient on multiple days. That can be fun, but it also can make a dent in your pocketbook. To be honest, being creative for several days a week kind of wears me out. (no… I am NOT a Mrs. Scrooge… just not always as creative in that respect)
The Secret Elf or Secret Santa exchanges that I prefer begin with a questionnaire being filled out by all participants. After being sealed up in envelopes. each of us draws one of the envelopes. Personally, I like having suggestions from my Secret Elf recipient, especially if they are not a DIY enthusiast or crafter. (‘cuz you KNOW I have that crafty gal covered, right?)
